The Stars of David are uniform and well-made, the chains are classic curb links, and the whole piece drapes at 21 inches with the kind of weight that earns a second look across the room.

The brass has developed a rich oxidized patina over the decades, warm golden tones on the high points and deeper amber in the recesses. That patina is exactly what makes a piece like this interesting. New brass does not look like this. Time does.

The Judaica collector market is strong and getting stronger, and a statement bib in this scale with this motif does not come up often. It crosses over equally well into vintage costume jewelry, modernist styling, and serious Judaica collecting.

Condition: Vintage very good. Natural brass oxidation throughout consistent with age. Hook clasp works. Note that brass with copper content can transfer faintly to very light fabrics; wear with darker colors to be safe.

Key Features:

Material: Brass with copper content

Design: Three strand graduating bib with stamped Star of David charms

Length: 21 inches

Motif: Star of David / Magen David

Chains: Curb link

Clasp: Hook clasp, functional

Finish: Naturally oxidized brass patina

Era: Vintage, mid to late 20th century

Style: Statement bib, Judaica

Condition: Vintage very good

https://ladygotrocks.com/products/vintage-brass-star-of-david-three-strand-bib-necklace-judaica-statement-magen-david-graduating-chains-21-inches
