Shaped like a paisley, colored like a Creamsicle, and capped in 18K gold. This vintage pendant is a single freeform drop of carnelian that curves into a comma, glowing deep orange-red at the center and fading to amber at the edges. The polished surface holds light like glass.
A tapered 18K yellow gold cap grips the top of the stone and hangs from a ribbed gold bail. At about 2 5/8 inches long with the bail, it's a true statement drop, the kind of piece that looks best alone on a simple chain against a white shirt or bare skin.
